As the number of total knee replacement surgeries performed @ IKJC increases every year. With ROSA Knee System, we are able to offer total knee replacement patients less pain, increased longevity of the implant, reduced blood loss, reduced likelihood of injury, and a quicker return to the full range of motion.
The ROSA Knee System is an extension of our continued investment in robotics and technology to improve outcomes for our patients.
What is ROSA?
ROSA® Knee System is a robotic surgical assistant developed by Zimmer Biomet that enables surgeons to carry out knee replacement procedures with greater precision and a higher standard of care during knee replacement surgery. The ROSA robotic system utilizes real-time information and assists surgeons with precise placement of the knee implants based on a person’s unique knee anatomy.

"Rosa robotic technique for knee arthroplasty surgeries. When using ROSA robot, the surgeon remains in charge and the Robot is acting as a “super-assistant”. Higher accuracy and better outcomes have been observed when using ROSA. Following the IKJC experience, more than 6000 knee arthroplasties have been performed worldwide using ROSA and one new ROSA unit is installed every week in the US, Europe or Asia-Pacific. Our IKJC surgeons have trained nearly 1000 surgeons over the world on how to do robotic knee arthroplasties using ROSA."
